Koh Phangan has been influenced by the 2 monsoons ,the southwest monsoon and northeast monsoon. Season is divided into two seasons: summer and rainy seasons.
Summer from February to April. Northeast wind will release moisture and combined with the warm currents blow from the South China Sea. Result in less rainfall and higher temperatures. But the winds calm and crystal clear waters are good ideal for tourism.
Rainy season from May to January. For the period from May to October is the southwest monsoon. Cause rain to January each year. By November, number of rainy days on average to 20.2 days per month of rainfall 1919.2 mm.
